Powell Valve Closure Systems are superior to any other emergency shutdown system available on the market. Powell offers several brackets designed to adapt to a variety of valve types, making the systems compatible with an extensive list of hazardous gasses. Powell can design, engineer and test prototype brackets upon request.

FOR BALL-TYPE VALVES
Designed to close a variety of ball-type angle valves on railcars and tank trucks with dome sizes 28 inches in diameter and larger. Operates valves with handles that close either toward the center of the dome or toward the dome wall. Several valve handle adapters are available for use with common ball-type valves.

Plus, the UniPro™ R system is easily "reversible" - helping reduce operator effort and potential injuries. The UniPro™ R is designed to stand alone as a complete system, or to integrate and interface with existing unloading components. The manual activation lever allows the operator to open and close the valve on demand. The included air supply hose has a safety swing coupling to ensure a secure connection between actuator and gas supply.

REVERSIBLE
Easily opens tightly closed valves with just a pull on the lever. No need for T-bars and spanners. Pushing the lever in the opposite direction closes the valve. Reversible feature requires an additional air line (90 psig) and does not interfere with emergency operation mode. Designed for high-torque valves only.
